(1) Inno fader installed into your DJM 800 Mixer at your request.
When you buy a system from us. At your request we will install the inno fader for free. The cross fader is at the very heart of the DJing experience. So why do so many mixers come with faders that feel like an afterthought? The feel of the crossfader is as important as any other feature of your mixer, so you deserve to have the best at your fingertips. Wouldn't you rather have a fader that you just plug in and forget about? Isn't it a real pain to have to keep taking it out every few months to clean it, just so it continues to work? Such is the weakness of traditional faders - contact technology that will eventually break. One of the biggest technological hurdles facing faders is contact. On a traditional VCA fader, the fader body runs along rails, but one side has to physically be in contact with carbon strips. This contact causes resistance to the touch as well as longer term wear, which in turn requires regular cleaning. The innoFADER however uses a unique capacitance based technology. The fader body glides on rails between 2 circuit boards which track the location and feed it back to the mixer digitally.
No contact means no bleed, which is when audio comes through even if the fader is closed - a classic problem for traditional VCA faders. This is caused by the grime from worn Carbon fader tracks as well as the gradual build up of daily DJ dirt interfering with the fader action. The innoFADER has no Carbon tracks to wear down or that can be effected by dirt which gives you 3 distinct benefits: • The life of the innoFADER is vastly increased compared to conventional VCA technology • Instead of very regular cleaning, only routine maintenance is needed to keep the rails running smoothly. • A reduction in friction, leading to a smoother fader action. So owning an innoFADER means no more fader brush cleaning, prolonged fader life and near guaranteed bleed-free smoother performance. |
Pioneer DJM-800 Mixer

DJM-800
96kHz/24bit Sampling
In order to maximize its characteristics, the DJM-800 inherits the high fidelity
technology of its big brother, the DJM-1000. The analog signal from the
player passes through the shortest signal route, first digitized at 96kHz/24bit
through a pro A/D converter where it reaches the digital mixing stage with
the best sound possible. The mixing is carried out by 32bit DSP without
deterioration of sound quality, thus producing the best sound.
Like the DJM-1000, the DJM-800 also has the same high rigid chassis for
minimizing unnecessary vibration which could adversely affect sound quality.
It also incorporates a dual-shield structure for eliminating entry of digital noise
and finally a high performance power supply for noise-free power.
Sound Color Effects
Harmonic Mixing Capability: The world’s first “Auto Harmonic Tuning”
function detects the key of song and automatically corrects it to the closest
true key. In music theory terms, if you have a song in the key of C and raised
the pitch on your turntable/CD player by 3%, you’re no longer in the key
of C, you’re half way between C and D, making it impossible to perform a
perfect harmonic mix. The way the Harmonic Tuning feature works is it takes
whatever key the source audio is in and adjusts the pitch until the key is at
a standard note.
Of course a DJ still has to know some basics about music, such as
which keys match, in order to pull off an acoustically perfect harmonic mix.
World class DJs currently spend thousands of hours learning the keys of
their music and re-mastering their library to be in “perfect pitch”. Now the
DJM-800 makes it easier to perform a “Harmonic Mix”.
“Filter” “Sweep” “Crush” effects: The DJM-800 incorporates a highpass/lowpass
filter, notch filter and bit crusher effect for ALL channels. In conjunction
with the additional Beat Effects, 50 combinations of effects are possible.
Beat Effect
Higher quality effects at 24bits make for a cleaner sounding remix. The
effects automatically detect the BPM of the music and sync to the beats.
DJM-800 includes some familiar effects, plus some new ones: Echo, Delay,
Reverse Delay, Pan, Transform, Filter, Flanger, Phaser, Reverb, Robot,
Chorus, Roll and Reverse Roll.
Digital Input/Output Terminals
Digital inputs and outputs allow for connection with other digital-capable
equipment for a fully digital chain, without degradation of sound quality. The
DJM-800 is a perfect mixer not only for the club professional but also in a
recording studio environment where high fidelity sound is required. Input
frequencies of 44.1/48/96kHz are compatible; output frequency
is selectable between 48/96kHz.
Fully Assignable MIDI Function
You can send out MIDI signal from almost all knobs and switches on the
surface of the DJM-800 to external midi equipment (a total of 61 assignable
controls). Since the mixer can send out many MIDI signals, it can be used as
a flexible interface to control software or hardware such as Ableton Live or
an Edirol V4 video mixer.
Rotary Volume Knobs Available (Optional)
The main volume fader knobs can be replaced with rotary volume knobs,
which are especially valuable for extended mixing providing more subtlety
and precision. Part Number: DJC-800RV
Other Performance Features:
• Cross Fader Assign: allows you to assign each channel’s input
to the cross fader
• Fader Curve Adjust: allows you to change the cross
fader/channel fader curve
• Fader Start: connect a Pioneer CDJ player with a control cable
and playback can be started by simply sliding the cross fader
or channel fader
• 3-Band Equalizer: a built-in equalizer on each channel enables
level control within a -26dB to +6dB range for high, mid, low
bands, respectively
• Talk Over: automatically lowers track volume so an MC can talk
over the track

PIONEER CDJ-400

USB Integration and MP3 Playback The CDJ-400s cosmetic design is simple and compact yet elegant with all of its various controls and features located directly on top of the unit. A USB port found on the face of the player allows DJs to play their MP3 music collection from a wide variety of portable music devices such as thumb drives, MP3 players or external hard drives. With the use of a multi-function selector knob/button and its large, bright, dot-matrix LCD display, locating and accessing of files from these types of music devices as well as MP3 music files on CD and CD-R/RW through the CD slot are done with a turn and press of the knob. DJ Software Compatibility and MIDI Control With more of today's DJs utilizing different DJ software for their performances, the CDJ-400 is also equipped with a PC mode. In this mode, the CDJ-400 is a native controller for software such as Pioneer DJS computer software and SERATO Scratch LIVE. For example, the movement of the pitch slider on the CDJ-400 can control the pitch slider on the computer software and no time code CD is required for audio control. The player can also act as a MIDI controller where the user can assign virtually every button on the player to trigger functions of various DJ software programs. Worlds First Scratch Jog Effect A highlight and an advancement of the CDJ-400 is its scratching capability. In addition to traditional vinyl mode scratching, Pioneer implemented the Worlds First Scratch Jog Effect. Three highlighted buttons, each assigned to a special effect, Bubble, Trans and Wah, creates unique scratching sound effects that can be enabled by the DJ on the fly. A hold button was also added to retain the different effects throughout the session or until its release, which can also be triggered at any point of play. Other Performance Features: Digital Loop functions: A variety of loops can be created for additional audio effects. Beat Loop: Automatically creates a four beat loop based on the tempo of the music (BPM) being played. Loop Divide: Rhythmically divides the loop to create different patterns. Hot Loop: Restarts the loop seamlessly from its entry without interruption of the music. Digital Jog Break: In CD mode the CDJ-400 contains three effects, Jet, Roll and Wah, which further enhances the audio by simply rotating the jog dial. The same buttons for the Scratch Jog Effect are assigned to the Digital Jog Break which are accessible at any point of play. Tempo Control: Four tempo modes, 6%, 10%, 16% and WIDE, provide additional speed control with a resolution of 0.02% in the 6% range. Yorkville’s élite series loudspeaker systems are the result of years of research, pushing the limits of modern state-of-the-art sound reinforcement technology. Engineered for the serious pro audio user, élite systems are among the most advanced, most versatile and most efficient high powered portable P. A. boxes available.
Today’s élites, from the highly efficient two-way E10 to the 1500 watt E2152 have some of the most advanced component protection and crossover technology available today. They have been carefully designed to bring you the latest in Yorkville’s advanced loudspeaker engineering.
Ideal for any small PA rental house, installer or sound company, these loudspeakers may replace a number of specific application cabinets in any inventory.
A modified trapezoidal shape and recessed input jack panel and handles mean these cabinets can function perfectly as a wedge monitor or front-of-house loudspeaker. Unlike some ‘multi-function’ loudspeakers currently in the marketplace, great care has been taken in the design process to ensure that élite cabinets will perform without compromising functionality as either a monitor or a front-of-house enclosure. Neither application was considered as an afterthought.
Several of the élite loudspeakers are loaded with 80° x 50° rotatable ABS Wave guide horn assemblies (the E10 utilizes a 100° x 25° horn). The ability to rotate the horn assembly ensures that the cabinet can provide optimum high frequency dispersion when the loudspeaker is used in either a vertical, horizontal or arrayed application.
Integrated stand mount adapters and fly ware means these enclosures can be utilized in any permanent install or touring application. In addition, the modified cabinet shape means the élite series can be installed much closer to vertical surfaces and in some cases, under balconies in tight locations, and can be arrayed in a much tighter less obtrusive cluster.
Of course, the élite series has retained the features and high quality sound that have made them so popular including Yorkville's famous two year (even if you break it!) transferable warranty.*
Advanced technology
Advanced PTC™ Horn Protection makes its debut in the élite series.
PTC™ is an ingenious current sensing / self resetting breaker that offers some serious advantages over current protection schemes used in many loudspeaker cabinets. This protection scheme, while always present in the signal path, remains inaudible until it becomes necessary for it to react. It kicks in at a point where it effectively reduces output to the horn and protects that diaphragm from damage due to excessive power input or signal distortion. Unlike a breaker it does not require a physical reset to allow signal back to the horn driver, and unlike a bulb or fuse, does not need to be replaced if the circuit is tripped, and the fuse is blown.
Where PTC™ shines is in heavy feedback environments where most horn diaphragm damage occurs. In rare situations even where a microphone might be dropped in a monitor, the sustained ‘squeal’ can destroy diaphragms in seconds. PTC™ will significantly reduce output level to the horn to protect the diaphragm. When the situation has been rectified, and the feedback eliminated the horn will return to full operating level within half a second.
The E2152 features the ATP™ (Active-Transistor) protection system, which allows the horn driver to operate at levels significantly above those required for normal operation. The ATP™ brickwall element of the protection circuit uses power transistors configured to operate linearly yet have the fast attack required to protect against harmful transients. Along with ATP™, the crossover also incorporates air core coils and polypropylene capacitors to guarantee reliable and distortion free operation at extreme levels. The sonic benefit is higher output and greater transparency when operating at high levels.
Rugged Driver Mounting System
All élite cabinets feature a specially reinforced driver mounting system that makes sure the horn drivers will still be attached to the horns when you get to the show. The ABS or composite horns are pressure fitted to the driver which is bolted to the internal driver support.
Custom Design Horns
Custom ABS plastic and composite horns are specifically designed for each cabinet and manufactured right in our factory for optimum quality control. This insures proper waveguide output for better clarity and lower distortion.
Rugged Black Carpet Covering
The stylish yet practical carpet that covers the élite cabinets keeps them looking great. The two part rubberized glue that is used to attach the carpet ensures that élite cabinets will stand up against moisture by effectively wrapping the cabinet in a rubber glove.
Curved Metal Speaker Grilles
Curved metal grilles absorb shocks evenly to resist dings and dents while eliminating frequency resonance. The trapezoidal cabinet shape allows for arrayable performance without phase cancellation.
Recessed Handles
All élite cabinets feature attractively recessed bar handles. Great care is taken to make sure that they "stay out of the way", but are easy to get at when you need them.
Flush Mounted Stand Adapters
Flush-mounted stand adapters in the top of the subs and bottom of the full-range speakers allow the use of the adjustable SW-TELETUBE option which makes setup a breeze by eliminating the need for speaker stands.
Integrated Wheels
Tilt back wheels and top-mounted handles are standard issue on the larger cabinets such as the E215, E2152, LS1208 and LS1004.
